We played an 8v8 training game against FC Raahe's C-girls. With only one substitute player, we drove up North in order to prepare for the upcoming Jokiedu-Turnaus in Nivala.

It was a very one-sided game from the beginning to the end. Until the last minutes, Pinja did not get one ball. Luckily, the game was indoors, thus she didn't have to freeze.

Here is what happened according to my notes:

10 seconds: Piitu has the first chance of the game. Her shot hits the inner post of the goal.

4. min.: Leonna intercepts a ball, passes to Siiri who finishes with a shot from 16 meters to the left corner of the goal. 0-1.

7. Our former right defender Suvi, who moved to Raahe and plays there now (while still keeping in touch with us regularly), fouled Siina. The fouled player put the penalty to the left corner. 0-2.

10. The ball bounces around in the middle, then Jemina captures it and shoots from 15 meters into the right corner. 0-3.

13. Siina does a solo run, but the keeper saves her shot. Then she throws the ball to Anette who immediately shoots, but the keeper saves again. The following corner is saved by the defense.

17. Siina does a solo run on the left wing and puts the ball from the goalline into the goal. 0-4.

19. Siina puts a crossball from the right into the penalty area. Siiri does a headball. The keeper jumps and saves the ball to the side. The following corner doesn't lead to anything.

23. Piitu helps the defense and stops an attack. The following corner has no effect.

25. First half is over.

34. Almost 10 minutes without anything noteworthy happening. Out of nowhere, Anette dribbles against 2 opponents and hammers the ball into the net from a few meters distance. 0-5.

36. An unlucky handball creates a freekick for us. Anette puts the ball through the open wall into the goal. 0-6.

38. Anette and Siina, the wild sisters, have a double chance, but don't score.

41. Anette goes into a 1 vs 2 again plus on top the goalkeeper. Hattrick! 0-7.

43. Jemina puts a tough shot to the goal, and the keeper has to jump wide to save the ball to the goalpost.

45. A serious of corners, not no danger for Raahe's goal.

47. Siiri chips the ball under the crossbar. 0-8.

50. Jemina chips the ball from 20m under the crossbar. 0-9.

50. Second half is over.

51. Sofia is now the striker and Siina the defender. The opponent no plays with 4 defenders.

53. The first chance for Raahe, and quite a big one. But Pinja, in her first scene jumps like Mainz's goalkeeper Adler and saves the moment.

56. Sofia is suddenly all alone in front of the goal. But she surprised herself too much, so she doesn't score a goal.

57. The best attack of the game: Pinja passes to Ronja, Ronja passes to Jemina, Jemina sends Siiri on the right wing, Siiri passes towards the goal, Anette tries a direct attempt. The bass misses the goal oh so slightly.

60. Leonna does a headball after a corner. No goal.

62. Siiri holds the ball against several opponents and passes to Leonna. Shot at the crossbar. No luck.

66. Sofia with a shot from the distance. Keeper saves. Corner. Again, nothing coming from a corner. We have to work on that.

67. Another shot from Sofia. She really wants to score a goal. But the keeper saves again. Anette jumps in and kicks the second ball into the goal. 0-10.

69. Anette plays tank and works the ball forward through a pile of opponents. Her shot is saved by the keeper, but Siiri puts the second ball with her head into the goal. 0-11.

73. Another great attack: Ronja throw-in on the right to Jemina, forward to Siiri, pass back to Jemina, shot from 16 meters to the left post, from where the ball drops into the goal. 0-12.

74. The goalkeeper accidentally kicks the ball straight to Anette who puts the ball into the goal from 2 meters. 0-13.

75. Handball in the penalty area. Everyone stops except Siiri who puts the ball into the empty goal. Since it's advance play for us, the goal counts. 0-14.

And that was the last scene of the game. Thanks to Raahe for the opportunity to play this game. And good luck for the season!
